New York Library of Perfoming Art Library

The New York City Library one of a few interesting libraries that i visited within the last few weeks. Like all other big libraries, this one has it's own unique style. First and formost, i found it very dificault to find. The idea that you had to walk through the whole outside exhibit, before entering the libary, made it quite hard to reach my destination. Due to the fact that there was very little classmates there, clearly means that i wasn't the only one who had problems getting to the library. I also found theater movies and CD's such as Bruce LeeI didn't really find to much the struck me as being interesting, i didn't really find anything more but a well structured first floor. I walk past the front desk to pursue the second floor. This is when the library began to become interesting. One thing that i like on the second floor was the collection of videos. There was acully a colletion on videoes on accent. The DVD's acully offers leasons on how to perfom a accent diffrent from american. One that caught my eye was the David Alan Stern Series.
On the third floor i found what seems like a very usefull resource area. With resouce computers. To go with the the resource center i found great drawing from as early as the day of Mozart, there was a great painting of the Motartz Family in 1780. This was just one of many different paintings that i observed. However i did find so usefull information that i think would be relevent to my final project. Due to the fact that my project will explore the idea of public decentcy laws, in which certain states find it unacceptable to wear your pants the way to want.
I saw some interesrting magazies on fashion. I think magezines with this kind of information would be very usefull to my to my project, in the sense that i am focused on the fahsion and the perspective of the society, veres the government's perspective.
